Saving Reports

GlobeTrotter allows you to save most reports in 3 different formats:
  • HTML - formatted for the internet. This allows you to place your reports on a website.
  • RTF - formatted for your word processor. Rich Text Formatted files can be opened with todays most popular word processors such Microsoft Word or Corel Wordperfect.
  • PDF - formatted for Adobe Acrobat. This file format can be opened on any operating system using the free downloadable Adobe Acrobat Reader. 
     
    To save a report you can click on Save under the File menu or on the save icon on the toolbar. You will be prompted for the file format and name.

    Notes

    When opening a report saved to RTF format with Microsoft Word you must use the Print Layout view. This can be selected under the View menu in Mocrosoft Word. You may need to set the page orientation to landscape for pedigree reports. This can be modified by selecting Page Setup under the File menu in Word.
