Changing a horses name

A horses name can only be changed using the Change Name window pictured below. This window can be opened from the popup menu by selecting Edit then Change Name or DOB. This window can also be opened by clicking on the Change button beside the horses name in the Horse Editor.

GlobeTrotter uses 2 pieces of information to make each horse unique: the horses name and date of birth. If you want to change a horses name that is already in the database you need to supply both pieces of information in the Change From and Change To boxes.

There are 2 checkboxes in this window. One will change the horses name if selected the other will only update the horses offspring. In most cases you should have both boxes selected however there may be instances in which this is not desired.
